On behalf of the ERA-EDTA Immunonephrology
Working Group, we are happy
to announce an important initiative
aimed at supporting research
projects focused on immune
system dysregulation as a factor
favouring development and progression
of renal diseases and as a
target for appropriate therapy.
If you are currently working
on research projects on glomerular,
tubular, vascular immuno-mediated
renal diseases, Immune mechanisms
in pathogenesis and progression
of renal damage, Immune-mediated
damage in kidney transplantation,
do not miss the opportunity
to submit your application
as EXPESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
and to eventually get funds.
Your EXPRESSION OF INTEREST,
as well as the outline of your
research, will be evaluated
by the Advisory Board of the
Immunonephrology Working Group.
The best research projects
will be officially presented
- in a ‘Scientific Fair’ organised
by the Immunonephrology Working
Group - to representatives
of pharmaceutical companies,
associations and foundations
for potential support.
The EXPRESSIONS
OF INTEREST (EOI) must
be filled in and submitted
by the principal investigator
of your research group and
sent per email at workinggroups@era-edta.org
Only submission by email is
possible. EOIs sent by post
will not be accepted.
EOIs must be
received by April 10, 2010. EOIs
received after this date will
not be taken into consideration.
